The Action Wheel

The Action Wheel is a simple, diceless conflict resolution mechanic that can be used as the basis for a ttrpg. It is designed to facilitate quick play based on decision making and resource management rather than dice rolls. The Action Wheel is not a complete game and is instead meant to be used as a jumping off point for designers to create games of their own.

This is a little something I’ve thrown together for Viditya Voleti’s birthday game jam!

This is what one may call an 'ashcan' game, in that it has virtually no layout or visual elements.
